Invite Marcia To Come and Speak

Marcia loves to meet young readers and the adults in their lives. If your school or group is in the Denver Metro area or within 120 miles, she would enjoy discussing  with your or the people in charge various options. She has spoken about the importance of empathy to parents and students as well as about her books and writing process. It can be a one time visit or several visits as an author in residence. Here are some of the things people have said about her:

Thank you for coming to our classroom. It is cool to meet an author that has published books. When our teacher reads we always think how you can write this because it is so good and so long. We have heard the best story in our life so far. –Thank You Letter from 4th Grade Class at Crofton Elementary, Crofton NE

Marcia Canter planned an amazing workshop that inspired our families, students, and staff to participate in discussion. The audience was excited to learn about empathy and ways to apply it in their day-to-day lives and as parents. Marcia was able to get children, teenagers and adults involved. It was a delight to work with her in the preparation for this class and to be a member of the audience. –Deborah Van Roy, Community Liaison, Ricardo Flores Magon Academy, Westminster, CO

Marcia Canter was a great speaker who really engaged our summer campers! …Marcia actively engaged our campers through activities and stories that kept the campers wanting more. Her friendly attitude and willingness to adapt and serve made her a great asset to us this past summer. – Ethan Dixon, Program Director, Covenant Heights Camp.
